Things are getting weird

Until yesterday I had forgotten one of my absolute favourite parts of going on adventures with Justin. We get weird. I know what you are all thinking. Justin & I are already on the far side of the normal spectrum. But when we are travelling together, doing stressful & fun things simultaneously, we get truly and utterly weird.
I didn't realize the weirdness was a thing until we were backpacking Europe. Many of you saw some of it, but I don't think anyone realized the true depth. By the time we got back, I swear we were speaking exclusively via inside jokes. Totally mundane, normal things would be hilarious to us. We would purposefully mispronounce words, repeat phrases (Great question, I'm glad you asked), and practice our fake laughs. One time in Romania we were taking a selfie in front of a famous landmark, but it was kind of far in the background. I asked Justin if we should get closer. He said sure, so I smashed my face into his. He laughed over it for probably a full minute. It was not funny.
In our preliminary packing, I have started to take the art off the walls, leaving us with lots of exposed hooks. Last night, when I walked into our bedroom, I noticed two socks hanging on the walls. Justin informed me that it was his art instillation, being exhibited temporarily while our normal art is down. Then he made me tell him what it meant to me, and let me know that this was a one night only exclusive, and the space would be available for me tomorrow.
Oh yea. Things are getting weird.
